Help each other, Spread Happiness

Elite Disability services is a newly established community support services that aim to create a strong community bond with the people, whereby its members feel connected and valued. People with disability have the same right as other Australians to determine their best interests and to have choice and control over their lives.

Assistive products for Personal care and Safety

The way products are designed for people with disabilities is changing. There are more and more designs that are able to meet the needs of people with physical or cognitive challenges. There are many different products that can make life easier for people who have disabilities. They range from personal care items, household items, clothing, to assistive technologies.

Assistance with daily Personal Activities

This Facility focuses on the challenges faced by people with disabilities and how they are able to overcome them. Persons with disabilities are often unable to perform simple tasks for themselves, such as getting dressed or eating independently. This is where assistive technology can help. The use of adaptive technology helps people with disabilities with daily personal activities, increases their quality of life, and helps them live more independently. There are many types of assistive technology that are available for different individuals with different needs. The most common assistive aids include walking devices, mobility aids, hearing aids, visual aids, and medication reminder systems.

Innovative Community Participation

The local community is the backbone of how disability people are able to participate in society. The key to getting the most out of your community is to engage them in a way that is authentic and responsive to their needs. A lot of disabilities are not visible. No one can tell by looking at the person whether they have a disability or not, which makes it harder for them to participate in various activities. The community is an important part of the solution because it invites people with disabilities to participate in social events and provides assistance when necessary.

Household Tasks

The list of household tasks that a disabled person can perform varies greatly depending on the disability. However, most disabled individuals find it helpful to use a wheelchair ramp in order to access their home. Depending on the severity of the individual’s disability, they may also be able to use a walker or crutches. In addition to these items, many people with disabilities enjoy using specialised devices such as bath seats and shower chairs. These pieces of equipment make it easier for them to take care of themselves in their own homes. There are many household tasks that people with disabilities are not able to do. This is why disability support is so important. For example, people who have difficulty with talking or swallowing can use assistive technology to help them communicate more easily.

Participation in Community

This service discusses the importance of supporting those who are living with a disability, or who are members of marginalised communities that may not be able to participate fully within their communities. It also covers considerations for those hosting events or offering programmes, as well as what they might do if accessibility is not taken into account during design phases. This will cover ways to ensure an event is accessible for all who need it, including those with disabilities.

Social and Civic Activities

There are many social and civic activities for disability people. These activities help them to get more self-confidence, make friends, and also learn new skills. They also encourage the person to do things on their own or in a group with other people.

Management of funding for Supports in Participant plans

All across the country, there is a shift in the way that disability support is being administered. Instead of serving as a supplement to Medicare or some other public option, it’s more often becoming an integrated component. That shift is due to how we understand and perceive disability and different ways of living with them. We should be able to manage our funding for supports in participant plans from disability support and live fulfilling lives!

Therapeutic Supports

Some people with disabilities need more than just physical supports to thrive. Supportive relationships, a sense of community, and a positive outlook on life can make a big difference in their quality of life. There are many different approaches to supporting people with disabilities in their communities. The type of support needed will depend on the degree, type, and severity of disability they have. Some people may find that they need ongoing assistance from the community while others only require one-time assistance.

Group and Centre-based Activities

The assessment of the needs of disabled people for leisure activities is usually difficult, because they have different interests and disabilities, which makes it hard to find the perfect activity that would meet all their needs.
